Heart Thoughts: Words to Prosper By

We are just three weeks away from the 2024 Love’s Infinite Journey Women’s Retreat! This is your chance to immerse yourself in the vibrant energy of women who are ready to break free from their daily routines and embrace an extraordinary weekend.

Leading this retreat and guiding you through the weekend are two incredibly compassionate and inspiring women. Debra Engle, an accomplished author of five books and a teacher of “A Course In Miracles,” offers workshops that use journaling and writing as powerful tools for self-discovery. Dr. Doreen Wiggins, an Associate Professor of Surgery specializing in breast cancer surgery and survivorship, brings her expertise beyond medicine as an experienced yoga practitioner. She has taught at international retreats alongside Rajashree Choudhury and contributes to Yoga Medicine, grief counseling, and cancer research advocacy. She, too, is writing a book.

Imagine starting your mornings with yoga on the beach… By the end of this retreat, you will leave with a knowing that you are the carrier of infinite love for humankind. Don’t wait any longer — complete your registration now and get your yoga clothes ready for an unforgettable experience!

On Sunday I continued with the series Words of Wisdom and the talk title was Words to Prosper By. I share several points that are all tied into prosperity. Here they are:

• Help others make it, and you’ll make it too.
• Give your first and best fruits, not your leftovers, to what you want to see increased in your life.
• Do your best wherever you are — even if they don’t deserve it.
• Don’t fool yourself that you can “snooze or schmooze” your way to abundance.
• Learn to give cheerfully, willingly, and quickly.
• You don’t necessarily receive where you give.

Life’s true essence lies not in having and getting, but in being and becoming. This perspective on prosperity and our choices around giving or withholding is a profound learning journey. By examining our motivations for generosity or restraint, we confront our true selves and identify areas where we may need to grow and change.

The affirmation that was shared is:

I am a vessel of abundance, attracting prosperity and success in all areas of my life. My words have power, and I speak positivity and growth into my journey. I am open to receiving the limitless blessings that the universe has in store for me.

Join me next week as we conclude this series with Words To Grow By,

Know that you are so very loved and appreciated.

You are a blessing in my life,
Rev. Patricia Bessey
