Heart Thoughts: Reincarnation & Abundance

Spring is here, according to the calendar… however, warm weather hasn’t arrived yet. With Spring comes cleaning and decluttering. We are doing that in spades in the ministry. This past week we had the sanctuary repainted and it looks fabulous. Next is my office, which I am clearing out and, along with the clearing, replacing the furniture. If you have interest in the desk, a side shelf or bookcases let me know. I have been gifted new furniture, which I am excited about.

We just so happen to be offering a class on Decluttering 101 with Yvette Nadeau. Yvette will not only help you to declutter but will tell you where to take the items you are releasing that will benefit others. That will be on April 21 at 6:30 p.m. on Zoom. Registration is required to get the Zoom link. Then to follow up with the decluttering, join Steph Plourde for an in-person class on Feng Shui. Date and time to be determined.

On Sunday, the topics were reincarnation and abundance. I found as I researched reincarnation, much more than I already knew. I found that some young children, usually between the ages of 2 and 5, speak about memories of a previous life they claim to have lived. Some of the children have birthmarks and birth defects that correspond to wounds or other marks on the deceased person whose life is being remembered by the child.

For the past 20 years, Dr. Jim Tucker, now the director of the Division of Perceptual Studies at the University of Virginia, has focused mainly on cases found in the United States. His book Return to Life offers accounts of very strong American cases of young children who remember previous lives.

You may want to read about one case Dr. Tucker documented: Ryan’s Story.

Perhaps no teaching of Charles Fillmore has caused more comment than his acceptance of reincarnation.

In Keep a True Lent, Mr. Fillmore wrote: The whole man, spirit, soul, and body must be lifted up in the Christ consciousness of life and perfection, which is the goal of man’s existence.

The Western world in general looks on re-embodiment, or reincarnation, as a heathen doctrine. Many people close the door of their minds to it, without waiting to find out what message it may bring when interpreted in the light of Truth.

Abundance was also part of the message on Sunday. I gave a 12-step process in demonstrating abundance. If you missed the service, you can watch it here.

I suggest you commit this affirmation to memory…

The inexhaustible resource of Spirit is equal to every demand.
There is no reality in lack. Abundance is here and now manifest.

Join me next Sunday… it is Palm Sunday, and I will be offering an adult spiritual baptism.

Have a blessed week!

You are a blessing in my life,
Rev. Patricia Bessey
