Heart Thoughts: Holy Week

Well, Mother Nature did her thing this weekend. I am one of the fortunate who did not lose power and for that I am very grateful. I did hear from someone who did lose power and she used the situation to focus on gratitude. She was able to see the many things she is grateful for when she has power, and it reminds me as well how much we take for granted that they will always be there.

This is going to be a short and sweet message and an invitation. Please join Deana and me on Thursday evening for a Holy Thursday service. This will be on Zoom, so it is important for you to register in order to receive the link.

We are also going to extend Palm Sunday and do a Holy Sunday next week. You won’t want to miss being there as we combine the Palm Sunday message and music with the Easter message and music. We are in a time of great creativity and change… so why not doing something outside the box? Actually, let’s not even have a box!

If you feel so inclined to bring a coffee cake, donuts, or other treats to have with coffee after the service, that would be a wonderful Easter gift. It will invite folks to stay and connect.

For those of you without power (I am writing this on Sunday), by the time this lands in your inbox I pray that the outer power has been restored. Remember we never lose our inner power.

Know that you are so very loved and appreciated.

You are a blessing in my life,
Rev. Patricia Bessey
