High Five to all who showed up for the cleanup day. In the almost 12 years that I have been here we have never done what we did on Saturday. We have had cleanup days but not to the extent as this one was. As I mentioned in the service, please do not bring items to the church with the intention we might be able to use it. Especially not books! Oh my goodness we have a plethora of books.
I am very excited to share that we will be having a once-a-month group for women. We have Unity Women’s Adventure Group that has been doing some cool adventures such as hiking, movies and other fun things. Our intent is to tie these together, which will give a boost to both groups. The first gathering will be on June 8, at 6:30 p.m., concluding at 8 p.m. If the weather permits, we will gather outside, so bring a lawn chair to be comfy. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we will be inside. Each month will have a topic and a rotation of facilitation. This group will be in-person-only at this time.
Another powerful lesson from the book It’s Not Your Money by author Tosha Silver. This lesson was on energetic clearing. It is continuing the clearing and cleaning of the physical and now doing the deep dive into our inner being. It is removing (or cutting) the unneeded psychic cords, which are energy ropes that bind us to pivotal people and things.
Many of the financial beliefs that tyrannize us are not our own. They may be stored in the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind becomes the EYEGLASSES of how we see the world.
These can truly feel like psychic lassos. Our author calls them “cords.” The simplest definition given is just another person’s limiting belief or wound that got stored within you like a parasite.
Our author, Tosha Silver, proposes that these “energy cords” become attached to our lower three chakras, which relate to security. Ground chakra at the base of the spine. The second chakra right below your navel which is the survival and creativity center and then the third chakra which is the power chakra at your solar plexus.
I led folks through a meditation that you can find in the book; however, you can listen to it on Facebook or YouTube. It begins 53 minutes into the recording. I wasn’t able to figure out how to clip it… Here is the Sunday talk.
With these tools you are no longer at the mercy of scarcity thoughts. Over time, you’ll make the decision to align with truth instead of falsehoods. Silver says: De-cording can also help release fear coming through generations of suffering.
