Julie’s Message: A Reminder of Love and Unity
Julie’s portrayal of Mr. Rogers was heartwarming. From changing her shoes to donning his iconic sweater, she brought his spirit to life. In a world filled with division and tension, her message encourages a shift in consciousness — one that embraces love and compassion.
Her exploration of Jesus’ parables and their relevance today touched our hearts. Remember, everyone is our neighbor. When faced with challenges, ask yourself, “What would love do?” Julie’s sticky note on her front door serves as a powerful reminder.
And speaking of neighbors, Julie shared a delightful story with me after the service about a 5-year-old who lives near her and greets her with a cheerful, “Hi, neighbor.” It’s a testament to the positive energy she’s cultivated in her neighborhood. Let’s follow her lead — create lists of what we want to experience, foster kindness, and watch our surroundings transform.
