Zero Balancing Introductory Talk

Sunday, June 9, 12:30-3:30 p.m. — Presented by Julie Sargent, Beverly Peirson & Pamela Attomore

Please join us for a fun and informative talk and demonstration about Zero Balancing (ZB), the holistic touch therapy developed by Dr. Fritz Smith over 50 years ago. During the three-hour gathering, the many benefits and hallmarks that distinguish ZB will be highlighted. Whether you are a health practitioner or someone interested in learning this therapy to benefit your family and friends, you will learn how Zero Balancing promotes access to greater health and vitality.

This talk also is designed to provide you with an introduction to the principles of touch as utilized in Zero Balancing and to the concepts of body structure and body energy. In addition, attendees will be able to experience a demonstration of an actual ZB session.

You will learn:

  • To experience and practice the concept of Interface touch through exercises designed to foster clear therapeutic boundaries.
  • The significance of bone tissue, skeletal energy, and structural alignment.
  • About the fulcrum, the working tool of ZB, and how fulcrums offer powerful results with minimal effort.
  • Specific fulcrums that integrate and balance the body from head to toe.
  • The history and development of Zero Balancing and how it’s used in clinical practice.

Cost: $30

Registration required. Register below.

Pamela Altomare

Pamela Altomare, LMT, CYT, CZB
Over the years I’ve studied many traditions of massage and bodywork including Swedish, Neuromuscular, Stone, Myoskeletal, Thai Yoga, Pregnancy, and Pheonix rising Yoga Therapy, all nourished with my personal practices of meditation, Sufi studies, yoga, and qigong.

Then I happily discovered the modality of Zero Balancing for my own healing path, and soon after I decided to study this gentle form of bodywork. I find ZB quietly powerful as it integrates both Eastern and Western scientific principles and healing traditions, and I’m continually moved as I experience the receiver connecting with their own process and healing abilities. Tranquil, balanced, and reinvigorated are some qualities clients use to describe themselves at the close of a session. I’m so inspired and delighted to share ZB with you and look forward to our meeting.

In 1999, when Beverly was introduced to the body-mind-spirit therapy, Zero Balancing, her professional focus changed. Having been a holistic veterinary technician for many years, Beverly integrated the principles of Zero Balancing in her role as a veterinary technician. With further ZB study, she heard the universe’s call to attain a license to touch at Bancroft School of Therapeutic Massage in 2013 and in 2014 become a certified Zero Balancer.

She has deepened her practice and is a certified Zero Balancing Mentor (2021) and certified Zero Balancing Teacher (2022). She practices in Portsmouth and Middletown, RI. This practice has opened and enriched my life. Her love is to share Zero Balancing’s gifts with her clients and students.
