Unity Community Retreat & Celebration

Start Time: 3 p.m. Saturday, July 27 — Gather your friends and family for the Unity Funday and Camp Out, a special occasion dedicated to community connection, spiritual deepening and the great outdoors. This is not just an event; it’s an experience designed to bring us all closer together.

Saturday Afternoon Workshops:

• Creative Crafts: Spirit-focused craft projects to inspire your creativity and deepen your spiritual connection.
• Labyrinth Walk: Join us at our beautiful labyrinth for a brief talk on the history and uses of labyrinths in spiritual practice, followed by a meditative labyrinth walk.
• Garden Talk & Plant Meditation: Learn about our new Community Garden and experience a guided meditation practice to help tune in to nature.

Potluck Dinner & Evening Festivities:

• Community potluck: Share in the joy of communal dining with dishes prepared by attendees.
• Fire Circle: As the stars come out, join us around the sacred fire for an evening of drumming, dancing, storytelling, and sharing.
• S’mores Galore: Indulge in the gooey goodness of s’mores — a campfire classic.

Overnight Stay (Optional):

• Tent Camping: Pitch your tent and sleep under the stars.
• Indoor Slumber: Cozy up on the church floor for a night indoors.
• Car Camping: Find comfort in your own vehicle for a unique overnight experience.

Sunday Sunrise & Service:

• Sunrise Ceremony: Greet the new day with a special sunrise activity.
• Breakfast Together: Enjoy a communal breakfast to fuel up for the day.
• 10 a.m. Service: Conclude the festivities with our uplifting service.
