Zumba classes are fun, upbeat and a great workout to boot! No experience necessary!
Perfect for everybody and every body! Each Zumba class is designed to bring people together to sweat it on. A total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesomeness each time you leave class. We take the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party.
Especially great for obliques and abs! Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you’ll see why Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Super effective? Check. Super fun? Check and check.
Even if you think you don’t have rhythm you can learn Zumba. Tami uses various styles of Latin dance, middle eastern, African, Reggae, Disco, Oldies and more. High or low-intensity, no stress, no worries about having to be a dancer already, Zumba is for everyone.
Bio: Tami Palmiter has been teaching many forms of dance for all ages since 2001. Tami danced as a child until the age of 10 then started up again in her 30s (dance has no age restrictions!). She had her own dance studio in Brunswick for 6 years, which was voted Best of the Best 3 years in a row. She has performed and trained all over New England.
