You’ve probably heard of Ruth, Deborah, and Mary. What about Phoebe, Lydia and other women in scripture – what do you really know?
Join Rev. Kelly Isola to discover women revered and reviled, and others lost, forgotten and erased. Learn what you never knew you never knew.
Over three amazing sessions, we will take a deep dive into the lives of some of the women in the Hebrew and Christian scripture. In our last session, we will look at a few “lost and erased women of the Bible,” those who have been forgotten, betrayed, and reviled.
As we dig into their lives and unearth more of who they were and see their significance and contributions, we will come to see how alive they are within ourselves and our contemporary society. We allow their wisdom to open up our own wisdom and power. Those lost women of the past, so often neglected and ignored, are stepping out of the shadows and making their voices heard.
