Winter Solstice Service
December 21 @ 6:45 pm - 8:00 pm
On Zoom with Rev. Pat Bessey.
A Winter Solstice Service is a ceremonial or ritualistic event that marks and celebrates the winter solstice, which typically occurs around December 21 in the Northern Hemisphere. The winter solstice is the shortest day and longest night of the year, symbolizing the return of longer days and increasing sunlight as the Earth’s axial tilt begins to point the Northern Hemisphere back towards the sun.
