Way to Peace: A Subversive Power
January 24 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 6:30pm on Wednesday, repeating until February 28, 2018
Wednesdays, January 24-February 28, 6:30-8 p.m.
This class with Jack Seery will explore the subversive power of compassionate, nonviolent living. We will enter into the Way of Gandhi and Jesus through the writing of Terrence Rynne, our own experiences, and other readings.
What kind of power creates peace? What is the source of hope as we work for peace? How do we live as disciples of the nonviolent Jesus in our violent world? The purpose of the class is for each of us to understand how we are called to embrace the Way to peace in our lives.
Cost: Love offering.
