Heart-Based Meditation Workshop

Heart-based Meditation is a simple, effortless meditation technique that allows us to return to our natural state of peace with joy and ease.
Even if you have struggled with meditation before, you will find Heart-Based Meditation to be an easy and enjoyable practice without pressure to “quiet the mind.” With your very first lesson you will be on your way to enjoying a frustration-free practice, as you let go of all the “doing” and “trying” and release the demands of everyday life.
Heart-based Meditation helps us take individual accountability for our actions by transforming our inner world, which in turn transforms all aspects of our outer life. Practicing daily can lead to significant benefits, such as reduction in stress and anxiety, better sleep, higher energy levels, improved mental clarity and memory, fewer emotional “triggers,” more harmonious relationships… and much more!
Workshop presenters Dr. Paul and Sandra Dugliss live in Gorham, Maine and teach Heart-based Meditation locally and via the Internet and host meditation retreats across the U.S. and internationally. Their vision is to share this transformational practice with our local community to create an opportunity for people to meet, connect, share and grow together.
A weekly Heart-based Meditation drop-in group is available in Gorham every Saturday from 4:15-5:15 p.m. No experience with meditation is necessary. Cost: Training is by donation. Pay what you can, or not at all. Everyone is welcome.
Please bring a mat, cushion, pillow and/or blanket so you can be as comfortable as possible. Being comfortable is important in being able to relax and “let go.” For more info: www.heartbasedmeditation.com.
