It’s giving season! Your Giving Tuesday gift will keep Unity merry and bright throughout this winter!

Mark your calendar for Tuesday, November 29. Following our Thanksgiving feasts, Black Friday, and then Cyber Monday . . . we have Giving Tuesday! It’s a traditional day of giving.

This year, your generous donations to Unity Center for Spiritual Growth on Giving Tuesday will fund our winter utilities. To keep our building a warm, bright, and cozy space for our community to gather for Sunday Services and other events, we need to cover the rising cost of heat and electricity. During the winter months, we have additional maintenance costs for snow storms such as snow plowing, shoveling, salting the walkways, and power outages.

Your Giving Tuesday gift this year will go directly toward these winter expenses so that we can have a safe and warm winter together. Even a donation as small as $25 would significantly help us to reach our goal of $10,000. Any amount you are able to give will support us and we are so grateful! If you’d like to give $50, $75, $100, or more . . . we have our eye on purchasing a snow and ice shield for our doorway to make entering and exiting the building even safer during the iciest of days.

We have quite a few winter costs, and because of inflation, things cost even more than in the past. We get an average of six big snowstorms per winter, and each of them costs $275 to plow the parking lot!

Here are a few SUGGESTED DONATIONS and which winter utilities they will cover:

$25 – Pays for 1 week of phone!
$50 – Pays for 1 week of electricity!
$75 – Pays for 3 weeks of internet!
$100 – Pays for 1 week of heat!
$275 – Pays for 1 snowstorm!

Giving Tuesday is officially on November 29, but we will gladly receive your gifts now.
