Workshop with Coleen O’Connell
June 3 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Active Hope – Turning Pain to Power (Deep Ecology): Reconnecting Ourselves to the Big Work of our Times.
Take part in the healing of our world! Join us for an experiential weekend around the “Work That Reconnects” (Deep Ecologist, Johanna Macy’s efforts).
The long-range deep approach involves redesigning our whole systems based on values and methods that truly preserve the ecological and cultural diversity of natural systems.
We will explore both the beauty and the despair that exists in the larger world and our place in addressing those things that are right at the edge of our own fingertips. If you are wondering how to find meaning in your own life, feel overwhelmed by the larger challenges confronting the global community, or just want to experience compassion from another perspective, this workshop is for you!
Cost: $60 includes lunch.
