Sadly, there are unhealthier “health foods” that are just that, a marketing scheme.
Regardless of whether you are Vegan, Vegetarian, Paleo, Omnivore, or any other dietary style, the healthy hype could be draining your energy and your wallet. Join Mindy for this workshop, which includes a question-and-answer session.

o The pitfalls of fats in the food industry.
o Now we know that fat is healthy, but industrial processing is involved. What to look out for.
o The number one “healthy oil” to never eat again.
o How to find olive oil that is actually olive oil.
• Sugar, it’s many varieties, and sugar substitutes; Is Glycemic Index making a comeback?
• Soy and how to choose the healthiest versions.
• There is a new, revised “Dirty Dozen” and “Clean 15.”
• Bioindividuality: No, one diet does not fit all, nor will one diet work the same throughout a lifetime.
• Biofeedback: Anyone can do it. It can save your health.
Bio: Mindy Rosseland, Certified Health Coach, Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Mindy is a former scientist and survivor of most of the fad diets ever created. Back in the 1960s she was the fat kid on the block. When she was 11, her parents took her to the doctor and her life of diets and exercise programs began. She currently follows a “Blood Type Diet” but has studied the majority of nutritional perspectives available. Nutrition is not just about the food on your plate, but it is also nurturing your quality of life.
